Antipodean, Bangsar

Finally, the first sharing for year 2013. It is our usual celebration of having a grand breakfast on the first day of the year. This year, I allowed him to choose his preference. He made up his mind with Antipodean without a second thought. So, here we are again in Antipodean. We were early, 10 minutes pass 8 in the morning. A few tables were taken, but plenty of outdoor tables still available. We choose an outdoor seat, for a cold morning breeze.  

Menu is written on chalkboards, stick on the wall, inside the restaurant. We already know what we want, hence, I just had a quick glanced on the menu and placed my order. My mate tried out the hot chocolate. Its quick milky. I ordered for a Plunger. It was free of charge ... ... a free drink for me because I purchased the beans from them. It is the same beans used in Plunger.

An All Day Breakfast for my mate. He preferred this version than the Big Breakfast he had last time. Oh well, I likes it very much too. 

I was shilly shally between French Toast with bacon & maple syrup or a French Toast with berry compote. I loves the bacon here, so, I end up with a French Toast with bacon & maple syrup. Nice!

Crowd started to pour around 9am, few groups of people scattered around waiting for empty table. To be at the safe side, my mate whispered, we need to reach here before 8.30am. Oh? Means there will be another visit?
