Belanga, Empire Shopping Galery

As I was craving for nasi tumpang again, for days, we finally came to Belanga to disperse my desire. With the previous experience of nasi tumpang out of stock during dinner, this time, I confirmed the nasi is still avail then only proceed to look for a seat. Without thinking too long, we ordered for both types of nasi tumpang. Fish and prawn. The base ingredients are same except for the center piece is filled in with either fish or prawn.  prawn nasi tumpang fishy nasi tumpang The portion in Belanga is the smallest among Kelantan Delights and Warung. Of course price are all different from shop to shop. Belanga is always my first choice for a simple Malay's dinner. Kelantan Delights if I'm expecting a fancy meal reward and Warung ... ... if I happen to appear at Mid Valley ... air bandung & local kopi latte Not forget to mention, Belanga surprisingly serve very good coffee.  We did not continue with any dessert. My mate was thinking a seco...

Xmas day at Colmar Tropicale, Bukit Tinggi

After a sound sleep throughout the night, we woke up freshly at 7am (so hard to be awake at this time during work day neh ~) From our past experience, breakfast should be kinda pack after 8.30am judging from the crowd yesterday. We took a quick cleaned up and moved ourselves for breakfast. It was still a drizzle day.  La Blason My mate wanted a super breakfast to heat up his day. Oh well, sure ... ... we can try everything here ... ... No doubt our morning always started with a hot coffee. I went to have a tour in La Blason and came back with 2 cups of hot coffee. Putting it down and continue my way to the eggie section. I came back with a fried egg and a scrambled egg. I had then proceed to the bakery section and had a walk though at hot dish area. Came back without empty handed for sure. We started this as our first round breakfast. It was then my mate turn for his touring. He started at the first row of hot dish area. Not needed too ...

Xmas eve at Colmar Tropicale, Bukit Tinggi

I had booked a room for Christmas eve since months ago, luckily there is no surcharge apply for reservation during festive sesson. We enjoyed our stay here with a suite room facing street view during our last visit. My mate requested for a deluxe room this time, facing the green lush. His command was successfully executed by me (deluxe room is even cheaper ~) Hotel called to inform that we are invited to the Xmas gala dinner with RM208nett per pax. As due to this dinner, only 1 restaurant will be available until 9pm. I'm not fancy about gala dinner, so does my mate. Hence, we made ourselves a quick shopping on instant noodles and drinks to bring up to the hill.  We started our journey slightly later this time, 9:30am I supposed. Traffic was kinda smooth at the beginning, yet turned a little hazard while we exiting Karak's toll. Genting must be having a very busy day. We continued our journey without massive traffic till we reached Bukit Tinggi. Parking was almost fu...

Kelantan Delights, Wisma Consplant I

I have known Groupon for long yet nothing attracted me until I saw Kelantan Delights was listed. I immediately checked on the promotion available. It was almost 50% off from menu price for 2 pax. I placed my order without second thought after reading the long list of terms and conditions (yeah, I READ!) and confirm that Subang Jaya branch is participate for this promotion. I have wanted to dine at the Subang Jaya branch since its opening few months back. We decided to make a reservation on the day before Christmas's eve, after rule out all the possible date (terms and conditions apply~) I booked for 6.30pm dinner. Since it was a rainy night, we decided to park in Wisma Consplant itself (wrong! Wrong!! WRONG!!! should just park either at Empire or Parade or at least go in Consplant parking after 7pm) Back to main, Kelantan Delights, ya Kelantan Delights. There were 2 tables occupied when we arrived and several tables were actually reserved. Great! At least it won't run ...

Whisk, Empire Shopping Gallery

Today is a special day ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ After dinner ... and 2 ice cream, my mate insist for an ice-kacang from Nyonya Color. OK, today is a special day ~ ~ ~ we walked into Nyonya Color then he decided to go Whisk instead. OK, today is a special day ~ ~ ~ It has been long since last visit. Luckily there was no customer during our visit (less people during night time maybe). A perfect timing for us. Xmas decoration in Whisk My mate concerning that he can't fall asleep after a coffee, hence his choice went for a hot Hazelnut Chocolate. Me? My resistance to coffee should be slightly better than him, however with the concern of no caffeine in take at night for long, I still play safe by ordering a Piccolo Latte.  The bombing at Empire didn't bring much changes at Whisk though. The shop remains homey and tiny, barely fit in 20 customers at the same time. We really loves the atmosphere here (with less crowd). Hazelnut Chocolate has a very strong taste of hazelnut ...
