12/25 (Tue) OK, lets have a final post before the end of the year ~  I dine at Watami during my days in Japan, I'm glad that this restaurant finally franchise itself to Malaysia. The best thing is, I finally made this makan trip happen at Christmas day. We were surprised with the crowd in Watami at 3pm, it was almost full house! Good sign I supposed. I loves the red color menu. As usual, a cold green tea and a hot one. Then we had our own sweet time flipping over the menu ... for more than 15min ... too many choices. We were actually not very hungry (the power of grand breakfast) hence we plan to order light dishes to share. As usual, my mate likes ... ... dog food? Yes. He likes the all in one concept which serves rice and topping in one bowl. Moreover, the dish he ordered for was quite soupy. Rice + Soup = Happy Boy. With the name in the menu, of course we had no idea what will the dish be, but luckily, explanation is provided. Its a rice with chicken and assorted mush...

開始在家 weekend 上早餐之後就迷上了 non-halal 櫃裡的 bacon & sausage 幾乎每隔一兩個星期都會買新的來試試 這一次買的 Honey Garlic Sausage 好 ... 粗一條 (沒有比較好的形容詞嗎?) 我煎了好久它才裂開 肉質非常飽滿結實活像絲襪裡硬塞了很多肉一刀切下去會有肉被解放的感覺 不得不說那個 Applewood Smoked Bacon 還真的好吃竟然帶著蘋果的甜味和香氣應該真的是用蘋果木來燻肉的吧 買了六條用了兩條還有四條下次早餐用來配我的豬肉漢堡排好了 差點忘了那個亮相過的起司歐姆蛋這次換了樣子只是對半折沒有卷起來味道當然還是一級棒 High5 的麵包就不用多說就只是塗了奶油煎到脆脆拿來墊底用的 這樣簡單 (簡單?) 的早餐竟然還可以飽到下午三點三算是相當划算可是當天沒有看到 Life of Pi 還是很扼腕啊 ~ 完成於 | 25.12.12 | 9am ~

12/22 (Sat) 話說某天公主在臉書說她在 Artisan Roast 的咖啡拉花不夠立體, 然後, 在非常偶然的情況下我看到了 Coffee Chemistry Signature 不但立體還非常3D的拉花就即刻 tagged 給公主看. 本來想說讓她先當個白老鼠去試試看這家咖啡館行不行反正她在家也無所事事是該幫忙試下餐廳. 事關我只去過在 Sunway Giza 裡的 Coffee Chemistry Cafe 而已沒去過這家 Coffee Chemistry Signature. 雖然兩家是同樣的公司當然是要試過才知道水準是否一樣. 哪知道我家男人是我肚裡的一條蛔蟲得知了我癢不可止的蠢蠢欲動就在星期六下午說要來這裡吃 late lunch. 啊! 有蛔蟲的感覺真是棒!  當然犒賞蛔蟲的最佳方法就是點道湯給他. 這個 Homemade Cream of Mushroom Soup 我覺得不錯他覺得有點稀, 所以說嘴刁的從來不是我是他啊! 我基本上是很好養的. 因為我還不餓所以不點主餐, 所以這個 Al-Funghi Mushroom Olio 還是蛔蟲點的. 這道我們兩個人, 喔不, 一人一蟲, 都舉手 (蟲有手嗎?) 說讚! 有點類似我喜歡的 Aglio Olio 不過是蘑菇口味的. 面條還有蒜頭都炒得有點焦焦地, 這種焦焦脆脆的口感我們非常喜歡.  雖然說是不餓可是來到咖啡館總該點個蛋糕甜點的吧. 甜點櫃裡的選擇不多硬選的話還是可以選到萬年不敗甜點櫃必備的起司蛋糕, 所以我點了即陌生又熟悉的 Cheese Cake Poland Style. Cheese cake 是熟悉的 Poland Style 是陌生的, 吃了之後我還是對 Poland Style 的概念非常模糊. 總不能說切成正四方的都是 Poland Style 吧搞不好只是店家喜歡這樣切. 擺蛋糕的盤很長一個還很用心的畫上一朵花 (別問我是什麼花) 花邊還繪上葉子咧. 黑色的是巧克力醬紅色的好像是草莓醬吧都可以用蛋糕沾著吃不過蛋糕不會變得比較好吃是真的. 那杯遙遠的咖啡就是今天的重點3D拉花咖啡. 拉近來看就是長成這樣. 我點的是 single shot 卡布, 咖啡味道算是不錯, 不會過於濃烈是杯很溫和的咖啡. 3D的拉花不會...

17/12 (Mon) Oh well, we were again in Zen, where the last visit was just ... ... last week? My mate claimed that he didn't order for udon and he wanted it eagerly now. That's the reason we again appeared in Zen.  Luckily he really ordered for an udon, a Nabeyaki Udon. I can't promise I won't whack him if he happen to order for something else. An udon was a great choice for a rainy night. I had a few sips for this, its a good one for sure.  On the other hand, I wasn't too hungry. I recalled the Anago Oshizushi we ordered during our visit to Kura  was a pretty good one. So, a Saba Oshizushi this time maybe. It serves in 6 pieces. I personally felt the fish was too thin, I prefer thicker cut, for more fishy taste. No doubt, it is still a firm and delicious sushi. I had a very very very excellent sushi experience in Taipei with Nomura , where I first met Anago which surprised my taste bud to max. It melted in my mouth. I somehow craving for one and it happ...

15/12 (Sat) OK, I know the revisit to Espresso Lab was a little ... too fast. But, we were happen to appear at Curve dropping by Sony Style to purchase something. It happen that it was 3pm in the evening, a perfect timing for coffee break. Moreover, e@Curve is just few steps away from Curve. That's the reason we were here again. I swear, I didn't purposely made this trip for it (cross finger) We were lucky that day as cakes still available, only 2 choices, Chocolate & Red Velvet, I supposed. Its a bit sized cake, RM2 per piece. I ordered for both flavor. I recalled that both cakes were slightly moist in texture, maybe next time I shall order for Mille Crepes instead (courtesy to YT that blogged about mille crepes making me craving for it, blek!)  Red Velvet & Chocolate I ordered for a 5oz espresso with milk. 又是星期六活力早餐時間 這次上的菜色是西式早餐中也算是常見的 Egg Benedict 由於不想吃兩顆蛋所以另一半是 Tuna 魚 English Muffin 簡單啦買就有囉 Pouch Egg 水煮蛋之前就弄過沒難度 Bacon 是在 Jaya Grocer 裡頭買的挺不錯吃 咖啡每個 weekend 都會搞一杯給自己所以容易啦 整個 Egg Benedict 最難的竟然就是醬料 就是那個黃黃色的荷蘭醬 Hollandaise sauce 最簡單的方法就是買現成的可是我忘記了只好自己下海搞醬 根據 Wikipedia 的解釋荷蘭醬就是蛋黃和奶油煮出來的 要死囉難怪醬好吃原來都是 fat & carbohydrate  有什麼辦法只好死馬當活馬醫囉搞砸了又不會去荷蘭頂多用番茄醬替代 還好一個小時努力的跟 yolk & butter 奮鬥後成果竟然還算不錯 我擔心荷蘭醬都結塊的事件非但沒發生醬竟然還非常順滑 這樣搞剛的早餐還是久久一次就好又不是要開店賣早餐不用醬費力吧 ~ 完成於 | 15.12.2012 | 9.30am ~

12/11 (Tue) I grabbed the voucher from Groupon without second thought when I first saw Grumps on the page. It was in my list for at least ... ... 3 years, if my memory got me right. I spotted Grumps during my dining at Louisiana, which is just next door (out of the topic, Louisiana is pretty good too ~ yet my last visit was almost 3 years ago ~ ~) Back to the topic, there are 2 outlets to choose, Plaza Kelana Jaya or SS2 Mall. Again, without second thought I called to Plaza Kelana Jaya for reservation. Dine beside a lake is always better than go through the crazy parking in SS2 Mall. This place didn't change much after 3 years though, shop lots are still pretty vacant. Parking is free (not sure is it due to PH) I'm kinda happy that Louisiana still survive after all these years. I guess I shall plan for a revisit sooner or later. Oh, Grumps! Grumps locate right beside Kelana Jaya lake. The interior is quite 'romantic' ~ which also equivalent to dim yellow lighting ...

12/11 (Tue) In order to satisfy our Dome's desire last night, we decided to go to Dome at Subang Parade to fulfill the stupid desire. Hence, an evening coffee break as usual. Since it was still a little drizzle during our arrival, we chose to have an indoor seating, the nearest to window.  To be precise, there was no coffee this round, only Ice Peach Tea and a Chai Latte. I loves the taste of the Chai Latte with a light touch of cinnamon flavor.  Of course, even my mate knew that we are going to have dinner later, he just can't resist to order for a soup, a minestrone soup this time. A vegetable soup with tomato as soup base? Quite good in taste still ~ Definitely, even though I knew that I'm going to have a dinner later, I still can't resist of not having something sweet during evening break. Not a good habit, yet I don't have any plan to change it. I ordered for a Tiramisu because ... ... there is a piece of white chocolate crafted with the name of ...

唉 ~  12月真是個充滿節慶的日子 (~ 嘆氣 ~) 歡樂到早餐也難免豐富了起來  (實情是沒子彈老是在外頭嘆西式早餐只好發憤圖強自己來) 在雪州蘇丹生日這一天我們身為子民的應該幫他老人家助興慶祝下 so ~ 我啟動了我人生第一次卻也算是蠻成功的起司歐姆蛋 配上失敗了 N 次依舊陰魂不散繼續出現的薯餅 還有這次記得拍到的早餐最佳良伴 UCC 炭燒咖啡 來一張 close up 還會流汁兼牽絲咧 ~ (~ 好歡樂 ~) ~ 完成於 | 11.12.12 | 9am ~

12/10 (Mon) Since I already 守不住寡, and the next day is public holiday for Selangor state, and my mate suggested that we should go for a pre-holiday celebration since its going to be a holiday for me. He has no holiday as his campus falls under KL district but he had only 2hours class the next day, so can it consider as holiday too? Anyway, here we go to Sunway Pyramid. We were wondering what to eat during our journey there.  My initial suggestion was Dome. However, the sad case is Pyramid has no Dome. Somehow, a desire of fried udon strikes my mate, hardly. Hence, we walked entire Pyramid, flipping the menu for all the Japanese restaurants. How many of them? Hmmm, Ichiban Ramen, Pasta Zanmai, Sushi Zanmai, Zen Japanese Restaurant. With the conclusion of non of them selling a fried udon, we made our move to Zen. 12/08 (Sat) OK. I admit. I 姣婆守不住寡. I went for a coffee session ~ I had been hearing Artisan Roast since it starts the business at KL, somewhere in a park in the city centre (not KLCC park definitely) Yes, its an open air concept where you can sit by the park enjoying a coffee. Kinda cool idea if Malaysia is a four seasons country. However, Artisan Roast does blow off the caffeine addicts in Klang Valley with its coffee. As KL is always too far for me, hence I had never pay it a visit even I noted it's name in my list for long. But now, it has moved to TTDI!!!! This was actually my third visits. First, both of us came around 5pm where the cafe was fully occupied. Second, we came around 3pm which again fully occupied. This time, we reached here at 2pm and finally get ourselves a comfortable outdoor seat. No photos taken for indoor because its already full house inside.
