Discovery

It is Merdeka Day, so, as a Malaysian, I do celebrate it happily. Thus, we drove to Subang Empire. Initial plan was just, jalan-jalan, for fun. 緣分如此奇妙, 讓我們發現了它. 小小一間, 卻如此引人注意. 就此決定, 來個下午茶悠閑悠閑吧.   It is quite a unique shop that easy to spot, the design is different with restaurants around that area. Just half of normal restaurant size, dim lighting, and we were attracted to it. 店里賣的甜點和外面的有些不一樣. 至少, 我已經很久沒有見到Macaron了.我本身不太愛吃, 對我來說, 太甜了. 可是, 金主沒吃過,  所以, 我們選了兩個迷你形的Macaron. 不同口味的, Lemon和GreenTea, 好像啦 ... 不太記得了. Not forgot about coffee, evening coffee time ma. We ordered 2 types of coffee. Affogato and .... I forgot the name of another coffee. The other coffee is not important, because the affogato was so well made. Espresso was strong, ice-cream was good. Mixed it together ... and ... booom ... Affogato ... KLCC公園逛了, Petronas Twin Tower也逛了. 在Sony Style也試了好幾個鏡頭 (我好愛Carl  Zeiss鏡頭, 好貴!), 是午餐時間了. Wasabi Bistro locate at Level B1 car park in Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur, a very strange place to put a restaurant. I guess, the location is to provide privacy for so call Very Important Person, hmmm ... for their dating, maybe?  我想, 我們抵達餐廳的時間, 也許有點遲了. 整間餐廳, 就只有我們一桌客. 是包場還是其實午餐都沒有人 ... 呵呵呵 ... 管他的, 我就當我把場子都包了吧. 我們不想吃便當套餐, 所以就用了一點 (不只一點啦 ...)的時間研究menu (跟外面日本餐廳的menu, 有點不太一樣). Anyway, we just placed our order, the stranger the better. We did order some normal standard stuff that heard or tried before as well, in case, if the strange stuff not going right, still have some food to eat. Mango + Salmon = sushi roll? Wow ... OK!  Ahi Fillet? Apa tu!!??? OK!  Soft-shell crab & garlic rice 餐廳里拍拍, 等吃哩. Udon是最後才點的. 不夠吃啊. Why Wasabi? 50% Discount 嘛! - the end -

There was a day, where I was wondering, I've been working beside Petronas Twin Tower for almost a year, yet, still not having a good chance to visit the twin tower and the famous huge KLCC giant park. 所以, 就決定了一個風和日麗的日子 (風是蠻溫柔的, 太陽卻是很毒辣), 到KLCC公園逛逛, 順便把封塵很久的相機拿出來日光浴, 拍拍照 (照片的結果讓人心酸啊, sensor有灰塵, F22光圈拍的照片都有明顯的灰塵影子) We parked our car at Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur, parking is free technically, for me. Of course, I will need to advertise a bit on this 6 star hotel, since we parked for free that day. Oh, not forgetting Maxis tower is getting free advertisement every time tourist taking photo of Petronas Twin Tower (need to find a correct angel to exclude Maxis Tower) KLCC公園佔地頗廣, 設備了完善的行人跑道. 大多時候, 都可以見到有人在跑步. 大多時候, 都是外國人居多, 而且, 我們散步時已是近中午, 太陽高掛天空, 竟還都可看見鬼佬鬼婆在跑步. 實在是很敬佩他們的抗熱能力. 其實, 公園里種植了很多大樹, 在那裡散步還是很涼快的 (自我安慰中 ...) It is a nice park to walk around, especially in KL city area. I sometime did have my after lunch break in the park for fun. Sometimes ... - the end -
