TonChin, 屯京 - 遠到而來的東京拉麵

First meal in Taiwan appear to be ~ ~ Japanese Ramen! It travels all the way from Tokyo to Taiwan and its always has a long queue in front of the shop. Initially I was thinking of 花月嵐, but since we had tried it during our last visit, lets try on new stuff this round!

We were there ... slightly after 5.30pm I think. Guess what! There were at least 5 - 8 groups of people queuing right in front of the shop. We registered ourselves with the waitress and waited for 30minutes to our turn.

Since this shop serves ramen, and we had been waiting for 30 minutes, my mate decided to go for the specialty 東京豚骨拉麵 -> which is a Tokyo Pork Ramen in English -> with top up of char xiu, egg and noodle. Additional char xiu and egg are chargeable, where else, additional noodle is FOC.

such a big bowl

On the other hand, I just placed my order for a miso soup specialty ramen. The different is soup based, my mate's was salty based where mine was miso based. Both taste awesome!

i curi 1 piece of char xiu

On top of 2 bowls of ramen, my mate had placed an order for pan fried chicken. NORMAL!

We walked out the shop with a full and satisfied tummy. Second mission after meal was paying Vivinne Westwood a visit since the shop is just nearby. Sadly we came out empty handed. Oh well, at least we get our stomach filled with nice food at the first day.
