Sun Yin Loong is the usual place for our Sunday breakfast. Majority of the stalls' serving are above average. It is a challenging task to spot an empty table during weekend, especially if it is pass 9am. Our practice? Previously was always after 930am, however, we manage to make it before 8am recently. Less crowd and cooling morning breeze.
hakka noddle
I like this hakka noodle. The stall is run by a young couple, the guy is preparing the noodle while the lady serving it to table. Minced pork, vege and fried wanton are package in one serving. An additional will be either chicken slices, cha siew or fish paste. It can be done in dry or in soup, either spicy or non spicy.
claypot yee mee
The best ever claypot yee mee I ever try. It looks like every claypot yee mee available, some vege, some meat balls, minced pork and meat slices. However, the soup is the one make the different. It is so rich in taste. Order it with an egg, cracks and mix it with the soup. It brings the whole dish alive. Although there are plenty variety available at this stall, yet, the best dish is still this claypot yee mee.
nasi lemak
Sometime, if we just want to have a light breakfast, is either we will order for roti bakar or just look for a packet of nasi lemak. This nasi lemak was from the stall that selling chinese pastry. The sambal was slightly too spicy for my taste.
egg on toast
This is one of the specialty from Sun Yin Loong. Taste great with a little bit of soy sauce and pepper. I don't know how they make the egg to stay at that shape. Eat the egg white with thick toast, leave the yolk till last and gulp it.
breakfast
Sun Yin Loong only serve one type of coffee. Of course there are beverages available, milo, teh-o ... but, only one coffee, Ipoh white coffee. No matter what we order for breakfast, it always paired with a hot coffee and an ice coffee. Definitely better than old town.
