強記補品, somewhere in front Shaw Parade

Keong  Kee, can't say it is a restaurant .. it is just some kind of road site stall under a tree with a lot of tables scatter behind the "cooking area". I seriously don't understand how they manage to have such a big land to setup their business in the mid of city center. Usually these places are all transform to be parking area, charging daily parking rate from RM5 onwards.

Back to the main topic, my colleague brought me here, it is an unique place serving unique food. Ermm ... I mean, something normal like curry wild boar to something more adventurous like squirrel soup. This time, I came with my mate. We did not come to KL with no apparent reason, it just happen that I had some overnight job and requested to stay back in hotel. Great timing for him to try out the food here.

Don't feel like going wild tonight, we placed our order safe. 3 dishes with a soup, 3 rices (yeah, tambah nasi), and a drink, total bill near RM30. Kinda worth it, foods are generally delicious. Just unlucky that 燜排骨 was not in the cooking list during our visit. I tried before, great taste.

梅菜扣肉

This taste awesome! I love the pickled mustard, it was stewed to soft and absorb the taste of the source well. For sure, the pork was tender, melted in mouth. It was the star of the night.

 咖哩山豬肉

The only wild dish we ordered, curry wild boar. Not many restaurant serve this dish, I'm glad I found one here. This dish reminded me of my day in Kelantan, where my family use to go "Kulim", a famous Thai restaurant for wild boar and belut.

椰子燉雞湯

I saw few tables had an empty coconut shell and wondering what kind of dish will that be. It turned to be a soup, chicken in coconut shell. Forgot to mention that soups are famous here, you can try out squirrel, turtle or even lizard soup if you dare. I heard it is good for man.

黃姜雞

Ginger chicken was an extra order after the first 3 dishes arrived. All dishes are served in small portion, and my mate concerning that he might not have enough thus topping up with one ginger chicken. Not too strong taste of ginger, pieces of chicken are generously given.

It is a challenging task to find parking (just park illegally anywhere nearby) and empty table especially after 7pm. Most dishes, sold out after 9pm. Take note of the timing if you plan to dine in here.

Leparking at KLCC park after dinner. Finally got my twin tower night view photos.
