It was twelve o'clock, we stepped in Pickle & Fig. Busy weekend, crowded and noisy. Ordered and paid at counter, we sat opposite each other, raising our voice to speak.
Go Peachy Smoothies and Ice Lemon Tea. Drinks served efficiently, not the food. We waited, quite a while, twenty thirty minutes maybe. They came together. Smoke Salmon Carbonara and Wholemeal Smoke Turkey Roll and Cheddar.
Smoke salmon quality was good. I like the homemade carbonara sauce, lighter than usual. Smoke Turkey Roll and Cheddar, generous amount of ham. I hope the same for cheddar, it was a bit less, for me. Hot pressed panini, food I missed the most after leaving UK. It is never the same, sadly.
Never ever compare bread/pastries with Europe/UK. The same as never compare ramen/sushi with Japan. That is the rule of staying a happy diner in Malaysia :)

DeleteCrowd ... if you are early, I think it is still bearable. We came for lunch, expected la the crowd. Here open until 12am, you can plan for supper if you want to.

Delete是的, 這家店好像是十點才開門所以我們是去吃午餐的. 外國人很多叻!
