T42, Empire Shopping Gallery

We decided to grab a dinner after a nice show, ONCE, at home cinema. Since I had cash voucher for T Forty Two, I guess it is a good chance to visit it again. Empire feels a bit quite for a public holiday night. Same goes to T Forty Two. It does not have much customers during our arrival. Waitress brought us to our table at one corner and handed us the menu that we are kinda familiar with. Indeed.

I ordered for a Orange Pokoe tea for its refreshing taste. My mate proceed to read the menu once again while I continue with my order for a pair of scone. He ended with a decision on Lamb Shank Pasta. Orange Pokoe was served with a bad news. They sold off their last pair of scone to the customer sit beside our table. I had then ordered ... Macadamia Brownie, which again sold off. Damn! What else you left for me!!!! Even my Chocolate Foundant is sold off!!!

The only thing that caught my attention at last was this Chocolate Fudge Cake. You better taste great. I had never thought of ordering this as it does not look tempting, at all. Eventually I had a chance to try it now. The situation left me with no choice but this. Thankfully this taste delicious. The texture is moist and chocolaty. Not as sweet as I imagine it will be.

My mate is definitely a happy boy whenever he is with food. He enjoyed his lamb shank pasta, a lot. The pasta is cooked to perfect texture, springy and not too soft. The portion of lamb provided was not stingy too. Its more than enough to go with the whole plate of pasta.

With the cash voucher, we paid less than 10 buck for this meal. I still left with another 20 buck cash voucher. Shall be back for my scone or macadamia brownie again ... hmmm ....
