Haikara Style Cafe, e-Tiara Apartment

It's a labour day, hence my mate suggested that we should go for a celebration since it's a day for us - kuli. We decided not to go far to KL town yet just went back to the small warmy restaurant located in SS16. We visited here once and fell in love with the dinning atmosphere ever since. It is quite a challenge task to spot Haikara as it is actually park under the roof of e-Tiara apartment, an apartment beside Carefour Subang.

There are parking available for visitors. Just inform the security guard at the entrance that you are going to dine in at Haikara, you will then handed with a visitor pass for 3h of free parking. It's 12noon. I guess we made a brilliant decision by choosing indoor seating. Orders were decided pretty fast, yet needed to wait a while before the food could reach us ... ... 15 - 20 minutes, roughly.

Our mushroom soup were first served. Taste good, none instant.

Sumiyaki Coffee

We were both ordered for Sumiyaki coffee, one serve cold, the other served hot. The coffee is light and smooth. This is one of the main attraction encourage us to be back again.

Rokomoko with cheese omelette

My mate ordered for Australian beef hamburger with cheesy omelette served with white rice. The cheesy omelette is so tasty. It is half cooked, juicy and cheesy. Indeed, the beef burger is super yummy. The meat is so succulent. The home-made brown sauce then surprise us by add-on extra spice for beef burger and omelette. Moreover, it goes well with rice too.

thick, tender and juicy

Beef stew rice

On the other hand, my beef stew rice looks a little plain compare to his. Beef cubes are not tender as the beef burger. OK, wrong comparison. Beef burger is minced thus it's texture is definitely more tender than cube. However, no doubt, the beef stew is still qualified as delicious. It is just our preference weighted towards Rokomoko for it's striking taste.

We enjoyed our lunch in a relaxing ambience filled with great music. Too bad that we had no room left for dessert. Haikara is famous for their swiss roll and eclair. I guess we shall drop by again for a lovely evening with coffee and dessert or maybe a breakfast ... hmmm ...
