D'italiane Kitchen, Paradigm Mall

06/01 (Sat)

The BIG eater is coming down town. She is asking for a dinner. Final location is in Paradigm Mall. I suppose D'italiane Kitchen will be a good choice, better than having Penang kuey teow soup right? I visited the outlet at Giza Mall, years back. Overall experience was not too bad. As for mini, she will be fine with any restaurant, provided Aglio Oglio is serves. An Italian restaurant definitely has that on menu.

There comes the day. After my secret mission at The Curve, I picked up my date and headed straight to .... .... Paradigm Mall? Of course not, we dropped by for a grocery shopping, a kilograms of cheese to be precise. Yes, 1KG of cheese. Then, we were in Paradigm Mall, finally, meet up another dinner date. D'italian Kitchen was pretty empty still, lucky us. It was packed when we were leaving. We grabbed a sofa seat, a comfortable seat for chatting and laughing.
Iced Lemon Tea, Pear juice and Watermelon juice. Three glasses of beverage with numerous refilled of plain water. Oh ya, and a bottle of strange drink sponsored by mini. Waiter did say that the juice is freshly squeezed. I'm not sure about both fruit juices but my Iced Lemon Tea was a thick good one.
Each of us choose one order. Obviously spaghetti was in charged by mini. Agli Scampi, according to the receipt on hand. Portion is small, but the smell is killingly flavourful. Of course it taste scrumptious too. Spaghetti is cooked al dente, well seasoned with black pepper, soy sauce and herbs. Not much topping. Prawns, minced mushroom and fried garlic. Simple yet perfect!
Pizza was my suggestion, the easiest for sharing. Quatro Stagione was my choice, best way to try out 4 toppings at once. Pizza's dough was good, slightly burned, thin and crisp. Can't recall exact name for toppings, but  it should be mushroom, pepperoni, pineapple bacon and onion sardine? I likes the pineapple and bacon the most.
Dessert fall under the territory of guess of the day. Zambglione, she ordered. I suspects she just order the hardest to pronounce from the menu. I wasn't sure what was I having frankly. Cheesy chocolate cake with coco powder (OK, milo) topping surrounded by fresh milk (OK, HL milk)? An interesting try, but it lack of a 'wow' effects.

Dinner was great, I'm pretty satisfied with the food and service. Shall arrange for a romantic candle light dinner here, with my mate. Of course, my dates for that night were AMAZING. Cutie, you missed the funssssss. And yes, we got ourselves macarons prepared for the upcoming feather's night. You shall start hunting for your burger too.
