Watami, Paradigm Mall

Yeah, me was at Watami again, for dinner. My mate chose the outlet in Paradigm, simply because he likes the ambiance over there than the outlet in One Utama. Although we tried the Chawanmushi before, but my mate insist of ordering it again for its superior taste. The chawanmushi here disappointed us. First, it was the container. It was different from the photo in the menu and definitely different with the one we had in One Utama. Secondly, the filling was just half filled or maybe less, where One Utama outlet served more than that. Putting aside both cons, this chawanmushi was still able to fulfill my mate desire for a softly warmy chawanmushi.

Flipping over the menu, I made my final decision on a hotpot, a Gyuniku Sukiyaki Nabe. Basically its a hotpot serving with beef slices, mushrooms, toufu and some vegetables. My mate topped up the order by adding on a Gohan set. It came with a bowl of white rice, an additional pot of soup and an egg. The soup was a little sweet in taste, but we do adore it so much until we nearly cleaned the pot.  

Knowing that a bowl of white rice might not enough for both of us, I decided to add on a Tokujo Irodori Sushi plate. 6 pieces of sushi, 3 types of fishes. Salmon, Eel and Tuna. The serving was lovely. I personally feel that the size of a sushi is a bit huge for a lady in single bite, but despite of the size, the taste was simply amazing.

Lastly, our dessert, a Sumiyaki Coffee Jelly. We ordered it during we first visit to Watami but this time it was claimed via a coupon. Believe me, this tiny dessert is unbeatable in taste. If you are a coffee lover, give this a try, you will never regret.  

Lastly,our total bill came in around RM80+. I guess we shall opt for the the Dinner Set instead. The price for a Casual Set is only at RM90. The most tempting of ordering dinner set is desserts are at 50% off .... ....
