Luckily I didn't book for Hill Villa, we got an upgrade during check-in! Guess must be due to large tour group that request for Garden Villa for easy access to facilities. Hill Villa is located quite far up where the benefit is quiet and secluded. Garden Villa which build next to Feast Village is slightly lack of privacy. Anyway, lucky us ~
We leaded by FO to our room. Everything is ready for us. After a short briefing about room facilities, she left us in the room to enjoy our time.
day bed is awesome ... ... perfect place for a nap
of course the bed is comfy as well ~ it's more than just king size
turn down service is from 7pm to 10pm
the room is nicely prepared for us again when we came back from dinner
where minibar and water supply are stocked up
each bedside table was ready with glass bottle and a mineral water
lighting was dim and music was on
the service is very consistent for both nights
(sorry ~ ex-hotelier checking on nonsense)
a pair of sink and basic amenities are available (I didn't use)
small fridge with minibar is provided
hair dryer is provided as well but it's too small for me to use
(the provided hair dryer is 1000w and my house use 2200w)
further behind lays a bath tub ~ a big and clean bath tub
sea salt provided is enough for 2 dips
did we try it? of course!
by the way, shower room and toilet are at the left and right of the bath tub

I respects the hard work of PLR to maintain the quality of the resort. Not mentioning about the soft service which required lots of training, also the hard work of maintaining villas and environment from corrosion.
Of course, there are still plenty improvements needed for reaching world class standard. But hey, just like my mate said, for Malaysia's standard, this is among the top. Remember, YTL is local not international. The service and location definitely worth every single penny we paid.
