Oh well, we went to 1U this time for another ramen shop, Gantetsu Hokkaido Ramen. My mate, without fail ordered for Tonkotsu King Char Siu ramen, which came with extra slices of his beloved char siu. Where else, I, on the other hand ordered for Hokkaido famous corn and butter ramen.
Tonkotsu soup was slightly peppery, my mate bottom up the whole bowl hence I guess it was a great bowl of soup for him.
Tonkotsu King Char Siu Ramen
Mixture of butter in miso base soup seriously an eye opening experience. The soup turned thick, I do like it yet it was a challenging task to finish it. By the way, corns were sweet too.
Butter & Corn Miso Ramen
Char siu is definitely awesome, big slices and roasted before served. However, ramen tasted too much like nissin instant noodle.
A wonderful holiday always ended with sweet stuff. My mate ordered Ice Kacang from Nyonya Colors, one of his favourite shop.
