Italiano's, SS2

I thought of Bella Italia while deciding where to meet up with a friend, have not been there for quite a while, kinda miss the pizza. My sister dropped me off at SS2, but ... where is my Bella Italia? Changed name? Is it still under the same management?

I was intai-ing from outside, the interior remain unchanged since my last visit, most probably it just a name changed on the restaurant, I guess. I finally decided to enter the restaurant, the only customer at that moment. Not a usual time for dinner at 6pm? The waiter handed me with 2 menus, I am impress, huge improvement, especially on photos (I can't see clearly the food photos last time).

Not waited for long, my friend arrived in hunger. We immediately placed our order and started the chit chatting session while waiting for food.

Lemonade was first served, together with sky juice ordered by my friend. Bla bla bla bla ... continue chit chatting until the mushroom soup chopped off our conversation. The mushroom soup was delicious, not a can food soup for sure. I tried it, it was a mouth full of mushroomy taste (of course la!)

We had to stop our chatting session, what to do, human got only one mouth. The remaining orders were served not long after mushroom soup. Our table was a bit small to fit in all the foods. Not too much I swear, I ordered for a Quatro Pizza and my friend ordered for a Stuffed Mushroom Caps.

We were surprised with the portion of mushroom caps, 8 pieces of them if I not mistaken. This is awesome. The chef must had just thin fried the outer layer of the mushroom for crispiness, yet remain the juicy juicy inside. Each mushrooms believed to be baked with cheese and ham for bringing out the salty taste. We can't help ourselves, keep taking one after another.

On the other hand, we had difficulty to finish the pizza. There was nothing wrong with the pizza, it was delicious as well. It just happen that we do not have much spare space for it after the mushroom caps. I ended up eating only one slices of pepperoni pizza, my friend ate only one slices of mushroom pizza. Pizza is freshly bake, made upon request. We ordered for a Quatro, four signatures in one, thought that we still young and able to finish everything. Eventually, we all growing .... older. The remaining 6 pieces were "da bao" as supper.

It was a nice dinner together, exchanging information. By the way, Italiano's is doing weekdays lunch promotion from RM10.90 for a full course meal. Shall try out on next visit, yet to have chance for the tiramisu.
