KL-KB - 千里來回路

Drove back to Kelantan, 2 days 1 night trip, total of 1000km. The applause shall go to the 12 years old kancil that is so tahan lasak on the road for 8 hours. Glad that we had a cooling weather all the way during our journey back to Kelantan, this reduce the possibility of water boiling during long hours driving. We off the air cond, wind down the car window for fresh air.

Journey starts at 6am, from Subang Jaya, first stop at Karak highway famous Mcd. A set of family set A breakfast warmed our tummy and energized us until lunch time. Second stop was 6 hours later at Gua Musang where we accidentally discovered a super duper delicious noodle selling stall, home made noodle taste yi-chi-ban. Reached home 2 hours later, it was rainning after Gua Musang. Best part, one full tank RM43, can tahan for 455km with a little bit of extra mile.

Journey back in new Viva, nice car with solid quality. We had a slow traffic while we driving toward Rantau Panjang. It was a rainy day, rains almost the whole journey. The east-west highway is my favorite highway. It is winding small road, but, the scenery is so amazing, especially approaching Pulau Banting where we made our first stop for a Ramli burger. Our second stop was not too far from Pulau Banting, Belum Rainforest Resort it is. Interesting resort, in the midst of preserved Belum-Temengor rainforest, surrounded by thick greenish. Shall pay a visit next time. The third stop at Sg. Perak R&R, I guess it is biggest R&R along the north-south highway. This time we stopped for dinner, food was nothing great, however, this R&R is famous of fruits stalls.

We finally back in KL right before mid night. Almost 20 hours of driving in 2 days, it was exhausted, neither driver nor passenger. Nah, I broke my own record of 800km and achieve a new record 1000km. So ... 2000km the next during round Malaysia trip?
