Goku Raku Ramen, Paradigm Mall

This new Paradigm Mall has become our number 1 place to go on Friday's night, no matter for food or for windows shopping purpose to past time. We do not plan to have dinner as the curry mee from lunch still taking up space in our tummy. We were both indexing the restaurants in Paradigm for the next target. We just never expect that our next target came so fast on the night itself. 

We stepped in Goku Raku after an argument. I insist of having dinner here as an apologize  to him for shouting at him for no apparent reason. He does take this chance to order more than just a bowl of ramen.

Goku Raku Ramen

We were lucky to get a seat even the restaurant was pack. We ordered for a small Goku Raku Ramen and a small Ultimate Ramen with Tontotsu soup (plain pork base). The Goku Raku Ramen soup is so thick to declare as broth. Egg is perfectly cook, pork slice is juicy, bamboo shoot is still chewy.

It took a while for Ultimate Ramen to arrive. Topping and noodle are basically the same (with more pork slices). However, we both do prefer this soup. It has a very clear yet strong taste of pork. My mate does like the soup here, very much. He bottom up both bowl of ramen.

Other than the 2 bowls of ramen, he took the chance to order a plate of char xiu. It stated on the menu that its a spicy sauce char xiu yet this does not taste spicy at all (the spicy is refer to spices?) Anyway, this char xiu is tender, even its lean meat. In addition, it is not so plain in taste with leek and sesame sauce.

The only thing that I don't like is beverage. There is no FOC for cold water, hence we ordered for a yuzu honey and a cold water with lemon. Yuzu honey is too sweet for me. My mate admire it though. I guess we will just order for this cold water with lemon if we ever visit again. Furthermore, I always thought cold water is always a free suply in ramen shop??
