Whisk, One Utama

It's a weekday! We both somehow managed to take a break from working life, headed to 1U for a lovely evening walk. He took a rest near rainforest upon our arrival, while I went for dragonfly shooting near the so call world largest water lily.

We ended our shopping day at Whisk, a cafe that we used to hangout in Empire. They are now having a new branch in 1U, with bigger space yet similar concept. 

It's still the cozy environment filled with light music. Items from menu had no different from Empire. He went to grab a table, not much choices left for us though, the cafe surprisingly was quite pack. Meanwhile, I stood in front of the counter for couple of minutes before placing order for Affogado and Piccolo.

No cakes for us this evening, not in the mood to have one. Well, a cookie maybe. I grabbed one from the tin in front of cashier, a chocolate cookie for a sweet bite.

They do macarons, too bad am not a fans of it. Hot scone does caught my attention, might give it a try next time or whenever my scones's leech is summoning for something something.

Affogato

Affogato is one of his favorite coffee. Espresso with ice cream. Whisk change the way they served. They used to serve this in 2 seperate cup, one espresso and one ice cream. It's now 2 in 1. It taste a little sour, he claimed. Indeed! Whisk had just changed the vanila ice cream to vanila ice cream yogurt. 

Piccolo

Piccolo is a mini version of latte, short of. 

These small glasses of coffee at least 'engined' me to stay awake until 11pm, assisting him figuring how to end the last level of his Cloud game. 

If you would really ask me, I still loves the small tiny shop in Empire, the very first shop of Whisk.
