It was a Monday, we were both on leave, planning for a trip to KLCC. I am going for book fest and my mate is looking for Maybank. We suppose to leave after breakfast, however it ended became after lunch. Luckily the traffic was smooth since many was out of town for long holiday.
Book fest is as huge as previous year, but it was without the company I used to purchase my book. Only 2 new members added in my collection, I am actually aiming for more. We both met up at KLCC, after my book fest and his Maybank. Walking around, windows shopping ... until .... we passed by Cafe Vienna. At first, the Tiramisu talked to me, then the Turkey coffee talked to me while I flipping the menu. While I was still indecisive, my mate had make up his mind (I believed the Turkey coffee talks to him too ...
...)
...)We decided to go for a Turkish Coffee and a Tiramisu. Frankly, foods and coffee available here are quite interesting. Good spot to stop by in KLCC, either for a lunch or tea break.
tiramisu
It is not a traditional type of Tiramisu, yet ... who cares ... I was attracted as it looks tempting. This dessert was not too sweet. Layering was firm, where I managed to cut the slice from top to bottom without breaking the layer. Good quality and highly recommend.
Turkey Coffee
It surprised us when the Turkey coffee served exactly same as photo in menu. It looks so Arabic, very different from other cafe that we have been before. I took a close smell at the coffee, ermm .... can't really smell what kind of bean it is though ...
The coffee taste is not too striking at the first sip, but it does taste very unique by itself. It taste like .... cigar, which is the closest taste if to explain. My mate refused to take it plain after a few sips, and added with brown sugar provided. Seriously, it made not much different in taste. One best small little touching is every coffee is serve along with a glass of cold water. For me, this is a + point, without any extra charges, lagi + + ...
Delicious dessert and interesting coffee, we both enjoyed our fun time at this cafe. Will it be a next visit? Of course, IF we happen to appear at KLCC again ...
