St. Regis Bora Bora - 原來這叫做藍

There was nothing much to talk about the planning of this journey. It was a business trip, tickets had been purchased by company. The interesting part was how to enter Bora Bora. To understand this, lets start with where is Bora Bora.

Bora Bora is one of the barrier reef belongs to the group of French Polynesia island at the middle of South Pacific Sea. The island has been voted as one of the most beautiful island in the world. I think the picture below says it all .. a star shaped island ...

馬來西亞並沒有直飛Bora Bora的班機. 世界上只有少數的國家有直飛Bora Bora的班機, 而紐西兰就是其中一個. 所以, 我近乎24小時的行程, 就這樣的開始了.

Departing from Malaysia, taking Malaysia Airlines. Reaching Auckland 10hours later.

Then from Auckland, taking Air Tahiti to Papeete, the capital of Tahiti. Duration was 5hours.

From Papeete, taking Air Tahiti to Bora Bora. And yeah, finally I'm in Bora Bora 1hour later.

飛行時間 = 16小時

時差 = -18小時

網路上說, 飛往Bora Bora的時候, 最好是坐在飛機的靠左的位置, 才能攝取Bora Bora的全景. Of course, I was not able to snap a photo like above (that must be using helicopter). However ...

飛機緩緩下降到島上唯一的機場. 領取行李後, St. Regis的員工就把我接走了. St. Regis位於鄰近的一個珊瑚礁上. 這裡實施的是一島一飯店政策, 也就是說, 除非你搭酒店的speedboat離開, 不然, 就是被困在島上了. 吃喝拉屎都是.

When the boat slowly approached entrance of St. Regis Resort, I was amazed by the blue-ness ever I had ever seen in my life.

由於, 我是來工作的, 為期4天. 其實, 我並沒有太多的個人時間可以到處參觀遊玩. 大多時後, 都是偷點午餐後的時段, 在酒店附近拍照而已.

Luckily, I no need to pay for my stay nor my food. It's soooooooo expensive, no matter you eat in the resort or going to the main island for a restaurant.
